{"id":1346,"date":"2021-12-31T04:12:09","date_gmt":"2021-12-31T04:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/secantimmigration\/?post_type=programs-and-streams&#038;p=1346"},"modified":"2025-06-02T18:45:04","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T22:45:04","slug":"federal-skilled-trades-worker","status":"publish","type":"programs-and-streams","link":"https:\/\/secantimmigration.com\/ar\/programs-and-streams\/federal-skilled-trades-worker\/","title":{"rendered":"Federal Skilled Trades Worker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on being qualified in a skilled trade, to be eligible to apply under this program you must be able to meet the minimum requirements for:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The language\u00a0required levels\u00a0for each language ability, speaking and listing is CLB 5, writing and reading is CLB 4.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least\u00a0<strong>2 years<\/strong>\u00a0of <strong>full-time work experience<\/strong> (or an\u00a0equal amount of part-time work experience) in a skilled trade\u00a0<strong>within the 5\u00a0years<\/strong>\u00a0before you apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a valid job offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least 1 year or certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must show that you performed the duties set out in the\u00a0<strong>lead statement<\/strong>\u00a0of the occupational description in the National Occupational Classification. This includes\u00a0<strong>all<\/strong>\u00a0the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is <strong>no education requirement<\/strong> for the Federal Skilled Trades Program.
